Contest Dates: This Week ~ Semifinals!

SEMI FINALIST REGISTRATION: The winners chosen during the 6 weeks of qualifying rounds are those who will compete in the Semi-Finals. The doors will open at approximately 8:30.

***Performers/semifinalists, YOU MUST CHECK IN with Annemarie at the door NO LATER THAN 9:30PM so we know you're there. Show will begin at 10PM.

• Semifinalists will sing ONE song, it may not be a song sung in previous rounds.

• From the semifinalists, a MAXIMUM of 10 will be selected on to move to the FINALE.

• Come dressed to impress!

• Judges will be rating contestants 1-20 on vocals, 1-15 on performance and 1-10 on appearance.

• Bring friends to cheer you on. Audience will receive ballots and votes will be factored into the final decision!

RULES and PRIZE DESCRIPTIONS:The Karaoke for a Kruise ContestHosted by: The Bowman & DJ Big BenFINALS: - Semi Finals, January 4th - Finals, TBASemifinalist AND Finalist Registration 9 - 9:45PMContest Starts 10PMIMPORTANT PLS READ... Judging:Contestants will be judged in three separate categories: Vocal Quality (1-20) Performance (1-15) and Appearance (1-10). Vocal Quality will be the most heavily weighted. Performance second. Appearance third. You NEED to "sell" the song and come dressed to impress! You could have a great voice, but you may not win if you just stand on stage without engaging the audience.Each week, 3 contestants will be selected to move on to the finals: one (1) crowd pick and two (2) judge's picks. The crowd's pick will be awarded to the contestant with the most applause/volume. ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL.Contestants who do not qualify are allowed to sign up and perform in the other qualifying rounds of the contest.Semi-finals and final will be held downstairs at Sullys Comedy Cellar, where contestants will perform on the stage!Participant BehaviorAbove all else, please be a good sport about the contest.
